Job Context

  • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of sales in the appointed region/area specified by the company.

Job Description

  • Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
  • Lead, motivate, acknowledge, and inspire your team to perform beyond expectations
  • Manage and supervise sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals
  • Establish clear sales objectives for the week, month, year, etc.
  • Train the sales force on regular basis to improve their performance at desired level
  • Assist sales personnel in their techniques on and off the job frequenting field visits
  • Verify the business feasibility of new dealer, market, activating old dealer, solving dealer dispute in line with organizational policy and provide market data of competitor's products, strategies, manpower other changes continuously
  • Interact directly with dealers/retailers to educate them on our products and answer queries
  • Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
  • Maintain proper documentation & reporting as required by H/O
  • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business
  • Collaborate with local distributors to ensure proper inventory and deliveries
  • Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly sales forecast
  • Develop specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
  • Implement effective trade promotions

  • Masters

Additional Educational Requirements

  • Masters/MBA from a reputed university (Preferably in Marketing)

Experience Requirements

  • At Least 7 Year(s)

  • At least 7 year(s) working experience in sales
  • Personnel having experience in FMCG (Food) sales are highly encouraged to apply
  • Proven 2 year(s) working experience as a Regional Sales Manager
  • Comprehensive knowledge about establishing regional distribution networks
  • Proficient in communication skill in English and Bangla
  • Sound knowledge in MS Office Applications, internet browsing & social networking
  • Natural leader with proven management skills
  • Comfortable with travel
  • Age: 35 and below encouraged to apply
