Job Context

The Manager, Project-KSF will be responsible for achieving the core objective of the project, i.e., women empowerment & improvement of socio-economic condition of the people of Northern part (i.e. Panchagarh) of the country. The Manager is required to prepare budget for each project, achieve ROI, execute fund allocation and management. S/he will be the in-charge of monitoring, reviewing the effectiveness, risk management and control processes of the micro credits disbursed through KSF, as well as detecting any fraud or misappropriation, malpractice, collusion or action on part of employees that is against the organizational policies/culture. The manager will also check the accuracy of accounting, financial & MIS report, accuracy & compliances of records maintained through verification against evidences and provide feedback/opinion related to operational risk. The incumbent will report to the CEO of Tea-Garden.

Job Description

Key Result Areas Tasks Ensure financial empowerment of people Ensure financial empowerment through different projects of KSF, i.e., Dairy Cooperative Program, Biogas and Bio-fertilizer Program, Tea Cooperative Program, and Organic Farming Program Pro-poor urban development Reach the goal of improving lives in remote and neglected regions of the North Bengal through entrepreneur development Improve literacy Improve the literacy rate through Early Childhood Education Program Increase Accountability and Transparency Increase accountability among field & branch level staffs to ensure financial transparency & project progress Audit & Compliances Implement internal auditing policies, procedures and ensure compliance through conducting periodic audit Investigate & search for fundamental reason of irregularities & errors Verify & evaluate the internal controls & compliance within the system Financial assessment & Reporting Prepare budget for each project, ROI, fund allocation and management. Assess financial and operational progress of the project activities as per budget Prepare project performance & financial reports for management review Field Visits Conduct regular field visit as per internal plan HR & Training Hire project staffs and train them as per annual training calendar Miscellaneous Any other tasks/ assignment assigned by the management.
