Job Context

This leadership role will perform all related tasks of SCM team as a successor and assist departmental head to achieve desired objectives. This position will analyses operational performance and resolve issues through collaboration with all stakeholders including vendors, Design, Finance and Project Operation team for ensuring seamless on time supplies of quality materials and services within budgeted cost.

Job Description

1 Develops appropriate supply chain strategy (Procurement & Inventory) to maximize customer satisfaction at optimum cost. 2 Lead supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 3 Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction. 4 Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and ensure supply need to meet the changing levels of product demand. 5 Coordinate with other functions and guide SCM team for smooth and timely supply of all materials maintaining required quality standard with optimum cost. 6 Ensure procurement of required materials as per Bill of Quantity as per set timeline. 7 Strengthen Vendor relationship management 8 Continuously explore in the market to offer better alternatives of materials at a competitive price. 9 Improving procurement and EME activities aligning with business plan. 10 Ensure due diligence by checking and recommending Suppliers for payment. 11 Keep track of excess material and ensure use within time as appropriate. 12 Conduct regular market survey and vendor enlistment for new and improved resources. 13 Propose and implement training and developmental activities for the team members in coordination with HR for increasing efficiencies of the department. 14 Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
