Job Context

Coordinate with the Architect, consultant, project team & management for compiling all drawings, documents and finalize the final project schedule • Oversee the day to day construction operations of all DDL & VRL projects and ensure the work is done safely, on time, within budget, to the right quality standards and in compliance with the company standard • Ensure regular inspection of all projects for technical and safety audit and also maintenance and tracking of all site documents for Quality Assurance and Quality Control • Ensure maintenance and renovation of all in-house projects to enhance project durability and damage control on a regular basis

Job Description

Develop effective strategies regarding specifications of all projects through project design, customer requirements, and company standards • Responsible for developing strategies regarding engineering and technical disciplines of all projects • Ensure establishment of inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all project resources and cost control Operational Project Planning • Determine project schedule for all projects of DDL and VRL through finalizing the project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing of project elements • Finalize the project plan by working with other project in-charges and Management • Supervise the implementation of project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions • Ensure the construction projects comply with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements Project Execution • Ensure mobilization of new project by providing manpower, security and available raw material in project site • Support in Interpreting construction plans or contract terms to site engineers, administrative staff, contractor and workers at the project site • Ensure timely execution of the project from start to finish by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems • Ensure proper execution of all project schedules thorough weekly tracking and handover of all projects on time Quality control (QA) & Quality Assurance (QC) • Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the overall quality control and quality assurance of all construction projects • Ensure regular inspection of all projects for technical and safety audit and record keeping of all QA and QC documents • Support in ensuring the quality of raw materials through test and monitor construction through quality checklist, quality assurance and top notch workmanship in compliance with the company standard. Operational Safety and security • Monitor all health and environment compliance issues are maintained in project sites and ensure all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are used by the project workers without fail • Investigate damage, accidents or delays at construction sites to ensure proper procedures are being carried out • Ensure all required precautions are adhered in the construction site to protect the man, material and wealth by implementing effective security structure Renovation and alteration • Ensure on time and proper renovation of existing projects through project in-charges • Support in ensuring overall maintenance of all projects MIS & record keeping • Ensure accurate and on time entry of material requisition in ERP Software through project in-charges • Review all kinds of project reports such as Schedule of date, project progress update, materials update, weekly tracking report, labour and technology requirement report etc. Cost control • Review the existing operational procedure to identify the cost reduction opportunities and take initiatives to minimize operating cost • Ensure efficient uses of financial resource within the established policies of the company Innovation & Improvement • Identify scope of re-designing and re-structuring the existing process/system to improve overall work operations • Support in developing the standard operating procedure (SOP) for all existing functions Employee Development • Develop comprehensive training calendar & training module and organize training as per schedule for enhancement of employee competences • Enforce a performance driven culture amongst all employees of department implementing, using and monitoring the company’s existing performance evaluation system • Implement job rotation and job delegation for empowering of employee's skill set and increasing efficiency of employees
