Job Context

To co‐ordinate all activities required to monitor and control manufacturing quality. Responsible for overall day to day Quality control and Quality Assurance activities, support for customer complaint management, support New product development, and support in maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Job Description

1. Supplier education and uplifting, resolving quality concerns and communication with supplier. 2. Conducting pre-dispatch/ shipment Inspection, review results, raising deviation request prior to shipment. 3. Raising the Vendor Corrective Action Reports and working with vendors to close the same with appropriate actions. 4. Ensuring the higher performance of the supplier and maintain or uplift the same as required. 5. Documenting the training need identifications and delivering the required training. 6. Reviewing the test methods and procedures & suggesting revising the same as required. 7. Participating in the internal meetings as and when required. 8. Maintaining the ISO documents readiness, ensuring the NCs are closed on time and actions are implemented. 9. ISO 9001:2015 or other QMS standard knowledge, understanding of 7QC tools, 5S, measuring equipment is appreciable 10. Other duties as per department needs.

BSc degree in Engineering or other related discipline.

• Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills in English. • Should have basic knowledge of QMS, product knowledge and understating, AQL standards, • Calibrations, ISO std. Should be sound in problem solving, managing people, and leading team• • Must have basic to average proficiency in computer MS Excel, graphs, Outlook.• Should be physically Strong, healthy and energetic. • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet strict deadlines. . 2 to 3 years progressive experience in Quality Assurance management in an Engineering/Garment industry.
