Job Context

To support smooth production and continuous growth, is looking for qualified and competent candidates for the position of Manager – Production, who is experienced in tea tasting of different flavor, buying & blending, production & operation, quality management system, machine maintenance, training & development only for product, risk management, erection & commissioning, safety management, problem solving, compliance auditing, import & packaging, process control.

Job Description

• Planning, monitoring, controlling, and upgrading production & maintenance according to company requirements. • To Ensure quality i.e., Density, Moisture, Liquor, Appearance, Infusion and Cup taste of different flavor Tea. • Ensure machine breakdown, preventive, schedule maintenance and overhauling for tea bag machine, pouch pack machine, blending drum, generator etc. • Coordinating with line managers, Tea estate officials, Brokers and Tea gardens, Tea packing unit for determination of tea quality. • Collaborate with the operation, finance, brand and sales departments to prepare budgets, product pricing and product costs. • Any complaints raise about the quality of tea from the market have to be properly resolved. • Develop the most efficient ways to use people, machines, materials, information and energy to reach the production target. • Identifying various areas for research to mitigate future challenges in the long term for continues product development and maintaining brand and cost leadership in the organization to maintain brand leadership. • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance goals to ensure effective return on assets. • Leads projects in tea products development, managing all team members assigned to projects to keep them moving forward on schedule. • Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising the quality standards. • Formulate product recipes as per standard level and ensure the production of high-quality products. • Monitoring inventory management of raw materials, packing materials, WIP and finished goods. • Ensuring and maintaining the quality of packaging materials and finished products. • Formulation and control of annual production budget. • Handling internal & external audits as LACON (USDA, EC), RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, JAS (OneCert). • Ensuring import efficiency including procurement as per commercial, logistics and production requirements. • Coordinating with suppliers, CNF agents and undertaking all activities necessary for shipment to facilitate clearance for shipment from port. • Arrange erection & commissioning for new machinery. • Monitoring suppliers’ performance and buyer’s requirements. • Maintaining all safety records including training, HSE training, site inspections, accident reporting and assisting investigation team. • Ensuring all types of documentation record such as policy, GMP, GHP, PPE, Logbook for all machine, factory hygiene, food safety, health safety, electrical safety, mechanical safety, fire safety, production report, Machine efficiency reports and others report. which is related to factories and production. • Arrange training on product knowledge for all types of employees. • Manage and improve all aspects of the SOP documents and approval system. • Perform any other’s job assign by the management.

• Applicants should have experience working in various types of tea production and research and development. • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Production Operation (Tea packaging), Tea testing, R & D. • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies.
