Job Description

• Understand all the details of this garment orders from preventive stage of material & garment sample development, basic lab testing and its required tools / equipment, fabric inspection penalty points / system used, cutting, printing/embroidery, sewing, several types of wet & dry washing, finishing, packing, mold preventive control, pre-final and required final inspection • Gathering reference approved swatch samples as to color / shade conformity • Bulk fabric shade continuity, GSM, shrinkage, color fastness standard testing, , other buyer lab testing requirements, etc. • Bulk fabrics inspection reports if within buyer’s standard penalty points / square yards • Get reference from buyers approved sewing / finishing / packing trims/materials and include it on the trim cards • Fit / PPS submission from factories and pre-approved by liaison office QA Managers / Team Leaders and buyer’s head office final approval / comments to take note • Size set submission from factories, pre-production meeting (checking all necessary information details / focus areas) & trial production • Fabric / trims issues, production actual status both garment required processing issues, garment quality issues, sub-contracting without approval issues, etc. • Working hand-in-hand with Merchandising Department by providing them on time information’s / getting actual production status & quality issues • To conduct internal inspection prior to buyer’s final inspection to be ensured required quality as per buyer’s standard. • To attend all buyer meetings related to quality and shipment and will fulfill their requirements. • Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace
