Job Context

Role Summary: The incumbent will be responsible to look after the treasury function, portfolio management & liaison with Banks, IPO & bond management and functions related with project feasibility. The General Manager, Finance & Feasibility will report to the Chief Financial Officer of the organization.

Job Description

  • Develop plans and provide visionary guidelines for short/ long term actions for financial strategy and operational activities to meet the corporate objectives.
  • Portfolio management and also correspond independently with Banks, non-banking Financial Institutions and maintain liaison for local and foreign financing.
  • Conduct & manage annual budget process, incorporate business initiatives, economic trends and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee & conduct financial analysis, feasibility study, strategic planning, contract analysis, and all treasury functions.
  • Analyse industry and market focusing on existing & prospective businesses growth, market share, profitability, recent developments and other similar indicators to identify competitive positioning of organization’s business.
  • Analyse & prepare the feasibility of different new projects and proposals from business units along with sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis & financial evaluation matrix and assist management in investment decision making.
  • Produce full feasibility study report including market, technical & financial study, conduct demand analysis, supply analysis, and necessary market research.
  • Review and finalize Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Financial report and give explanation of report to Management.
  • Lead & oversee the preparation of all various documents, prospectus for Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Bonds.
  • Design and implement controls systems and procedures for monitoring overhead costs and expenses.

    • BBA/MBA

    Additional Educational Requirements

    Master of Business Administration (MBA) major in Finance from IBA, Dhaka University or any other public or private renowned university.

    • Experience Required 8 to 12 Year(s)

  • 8-12 years’ work experience in finance department is preferrable.
  • Must have experience to work in core Finance functions, Treasury Management in a Group of Companies.
  • Must have experience to maintain liaison with Banks and Financial Institutions.
  • Practical experience to work in IPO/Bonds will be an added advantage.
