Job Context

The purpose of the position is to manage the team and use different types of tools and techniques to improve productivity and efficiency (Time study, Motion study, Lean, 5S, KAIZEN, JIT, Kanban, Six Sigma). The position will closely monitor and make reports daily basis (Hourly production, 5S, Efficiency, WIP, Input Output ratio). Candidate for this position must be technical with practical experience in Knit Garments Production.

Job Description

• The position is mainly responsible for the below tasks:
• Coordination with the planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plans, line plans, and factory monthly plans based on the history of the line and factory efficiency.
• Coordination with the planning department for improving the pre-production activities.
• Coordination with Factory manager for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
• Coordination with the Human Resources department for training progress (fresh training and multi-skill training).
• The candidate needs to audit the factory and lines to ensure the operation bulletin and line layout are followed by the line supervisor.
• Monitoring and Auditing IE and Jr.IE activities in all the units.
• Doing research and exploring new machinery and the latest systems that meet the company's long-term goals and preparing cost benefits analyses and ROI for the same.
• Areas for improvement are related to material handling, shortenings the process, reduction of the operation time (SMV)
• Must monitor the wastage control policy.
• Must take initiative on lean manufacturing, and lean tools, and look for the scope of implementation in the factory.
• Research and development for samples prior to production start.
