Job Context

A renowned Freight Forwarding Company is looking for Transportation Officer.

Job Description

1. Establishing and maintaining smooth operation of the Transportation (covered Van, Trailer, and Pickups) and sales.
2. Maintain liaison and negotiate with the necessary Govt. offices such as BRTA, Roads & Highways, Local Police station etc.
3. Checking daily transport movement log books and keeping records/history of the drivers, helpers and mechanics.
4. Attend accidents or other sites and deal with the situation.
5. Prepare a monitoring statement and expenditure report of the vehicles.
6. Making sure that the maintenance, oiling and servicing schedule of the vehicles is followed.
7. Strictly act upon the petrol/diesel filling mechanism approved by the management. Check fuel bill and observe the overall expenditure of the vehicle.
8. Prepare and maintain cost reports regularly.
9. Ensure that proper inventory of all components of vehicles is maintained and checked frequently.
10. Any other task assigned by management

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor/Honors

Additional Educational Requirements

• Diploma in Automobile/ Mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor degree in any discipline if experienced. 
• Masters will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

• Experience Required 3 to 5 Year(s)

• Age 27 to 35 Year(s)
• Only Male can Apply

• Proven working experience as Transport Officer. Fresher can apply only if confident.
• Good conflict resolution skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to challenge the established norms.
