Job Context

A foreign owned, 100% export oriented manufacturing company and is looking for a responsible, mature, energetic and dedicated person for the following post.

Job Description

1. Lead the team by setting productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting up logical organization systems and creating communication systems within the warehouse.
2. Follow up direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by communicating with clients, transportation providers, manufacturers and suppliers.
3. Determine standards for quality control and inspect inventory and packaging before sending orders to the next location.
4. Strategize about inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, rearranging containers for improved efficiency while allowing
5. Warehouse Workers to easily navigate between aisles.
6. Co-Ordinate with the supply chain team to dispatch products shipment according to the timeline.
7. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations;
8. Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
9. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
10. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
11. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
12. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
13. Prepare annual budget. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies & Plan work rotes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
14. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
15. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world.
• Strategic management in business environments, interpersonal relationships and networking.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Being professional, methodical, focused and reliable.
