o Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and business plans.
o Lead the formulation and execution of long-term business strategies to achieve the company's goals.
o Ensure alignment of all operations with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
2. Operational Management:
o Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
o Implement best practices and operational processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in operational performance.
3. Financial Management:
o Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
o Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
o Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
4. Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s footprint.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
o Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth and enhance market presence.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
o Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
o Promote professional development and ensure the recruitment and retention of top talent.
o Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
6. Risk Management and Compliance:
o Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks.
o Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
o Maintain robust internal controls and governance practices.
7. Stakeholder Management:
o Act as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the company's management team.
o Prepare and present performance reports, strategic plans, and updates to the Board.
o Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and industry associations.
• Bsc/Msc in Civil Engineering from a reputed Govt. or foreign institute with a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects and operations.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives and drive organizational change.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Professional certifications in construction management or related fields.
• Experience working with public limited companies.
• Strong network within the construction industry in Bangladesh and internationally.
