• Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle databases.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as backups, recovery, and patching.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of the database systems.
• Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance query performance.
• Develop and implement database security policies.
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues related to performance, backups, and data integrity.
• Assist in database design, schema creation, and normalization.

Dashboard Development (Apex):

• Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Oracle Apex.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into dynamic reports and visualizations.
• Integrate data from various sources into Oracle Apex for seamless reporting and analytics.
• Provide timely and accurate updates to dashboards as per business requirements.
• Implement filters, drilldowns, and interactive features for better data exploration.
• Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance existing Apex applications, ensuring security and efficiency.

General Duties:

• Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues and dashboard functionalities.
• Perform data migrations and database upgrades when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems.
• Conduct regular training sessions for team members on database and dashboard usage.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Oracle database management and Apex development.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Apex development and dashboard design.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
• Experience with database security practices, backup, and recovery.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for enhancing Apex applications.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Skills
• Oracle certification (DBA or Apex-related).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with other database technologies (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with integrating external data sources or APIs with Apex applications.
