Job Description
- Plant Operations & Production:
- Lead daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production.
- Set and monitor production targets, implement process improvements, and reduce downtime.
- Maintain a high standard of operational safety and efficiency.
2. Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for both Local and Bonded Markets (Export/ International Customers)
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Manage relationships with key clients and expand market presence.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for brand positioning and lead generation.
3. Distribution & Supply Chain:
- Oversee logistics, warehousing, and timely dispatch of goods.
- Ensure supply chain efficiency and manage vendor relations.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement demand forecasting systems.
4. Safety, Health & Environment (EHS):
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Drive a culture of safety and implement robust Risk Management Systems.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and certification processes.
5. Quality Assurance & Control:
- Maintain consistent product quality through effective QA/QC Systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other Industry Standards.
- Address customer complaints and ensure corrective/ preventive actions.
6. Financial Management:
- Prepare and control operational budgets.
- Drive cost optimization and profitability improvements.
- Analyze financial reports to support data-driven decision-making.
7. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop short- and long-term Business Plans aligned with company goals.
- Evaluate Performance Metrics and adjust operational strategies as needed.
- Manage capital investments and expansion projects if applicable.
8. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and build cross-functional teams across departments.
- Ensure proper workforce planning, recruitment, and skill development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
9. External & Government Relations:
- Liaise with local authorities, industry bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure all legal and statutory compliances are met.
- Represent the factory in audits, industry forums, and public engagements.
Additional Educational Requirements
15+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a Senior Leadership Role.
