Job Description
- Visit and followup with clients for both export & import businessand make at least 2-3 Sales calls per day on average.
- Develop/focustrade lanes based on marketpotential, develop new overseas partneragent.
- Joint sales call with supervisor, Salespersons, management, and respective operational team for VIP/MNC client when it required.
- Establish strong relationship with clients/agents (both Local & Overseas)
- Prepare competitive marketanalysis
- Compile and send weekly salesreport (including call reports+ businessgain /loss / revenue) from individual salespersons and report them to immediate supervisor
- Prepare weekly Pre-plan for projected target customer visit plan for self and for the sales team with discussion with respective members.
- Minimize service failurewith the proper follow up and engagingour key operational team to maintain the desired service level and error free service.
- Share history of the lost business opportunity, enquiry received from the customer and reasons behind losing the opportunity.
- Perform all assigned duties maintaining high ethical standards with a minimal amount of supervision from the Supervisor.
Additional Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Sales/Marketing
Jobs Requirements
- Minimum 6-8 yearsof work experience within Freight Forwarding & shipping logistics company
- InternationalOcean/Air Export &Import Sales experience in the freightforwarding industry.
- Maintaining external and internal customer relationships
- Good communication skills, especially when delivering information to customers and team members.
