• Oversee efficient working of employees of import (Sea & Air) department (LCL/ EXW/FCA) and manage all communication with customers and vendors and overseas Target agent.
• Lane wise make directory of all foreign agents which helps sales to get easy access to communication.
• Follow up all existing importers to maintain all business.
• Make a proper SOP for overseas agent (both Sea/LCL and Air).
• Monitor proper IGM and ASYCUDA submission to avoid pay penalty.
• Start from HBL/MBL / HAWBL/MAWBL correction, pre alert, arrival notice, DO submission; freight invoice generation, DO issue and deliver & properly follow up also follow up overseas agent payment.
• Design, evaluate and renew all contracts as per requirement and monitor and prepare reports for all import activities and recommend changes if required.
• Assist to prepare all import quotes for customers and perform all shipment bookings with carriers.
• Administer and implement all custom and border protection for various security programs and maintain compliance to all customer procedures.
• Perform research for various departments for all import laws and procedures and maintain knowledge on all tariffs and licenses.
• Collaborate with finance team and maintain inventory of all products and analyze all loan and insurance documents.

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferably in Logistics/Management/Supply Chain

• Minimum 4-5 years of work experience in Freight Forwarding company
• International Ocean/Air Import experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Good communication skills, especially when delivering information to customers & team.
• Keep up-to-date of current developments.
