Job Description
- Washing Development: Lead the development of new wash recipes, innovative techniques, and creative, cost-effective processes for denim and fashion garments.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure all developed washes meet buyer standards for shade, finish, and hand-feel from prototype to bulk production.
- Production Oversight: Oversee the bulk production process to ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.
- Chemical Management: Control chemical consumption, optimize efficiency, and promote eco-friendly/sustainable wash processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during washing and processing.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with the production, quality assurance, and merchandising teams to align washing goals with buyer requirements.
- Team Leadership: Guide and train local technical staff on advanced washing technologies and standards.
Additional Educational Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on experience in garment washing operations, specifically in denim and fashion washes.
- Expatriate Expertise: Proven experience working in Bangladesh garment washing factories is preferred.
- Technical Skill: Deep knowledge of denim, lasers, ozone, and conventional washing techniques.
