• Lead the Industrial Relations Department and develop IR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, rules, and statutory requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with trade unions, worker representatives, and government authorities.
• Lead collective bargaining, union negotiations, and dispute resolution.
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and misconduct investigations.
• Prevent and manage labor unrest, strikes, demonstrations, and workplace conflicts.
• Liaise with labor offices, inspection authorities, law enforcement, and other regulatory bodies.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all statutory IR records, licenses, notices, and legal documentation.
• Conduct awareness and training programs on labor law, workplace discipline, and IR policies.
• Prepare IR reports, compliance updates, and risk assessments for management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IR team while promoting a positive industrial climate.

12–15+ years of progressive IR experience, including leadership of an IR function in a manufacturing or labor-intensive industry.
