Modern Trade Manager

• Develop and execute Modern Trade business strategies to achieve sales, distribution, and profitability targets.
• Manage commercial budgets and trade investments to maximize ROI.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail chains and key accounts.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, trade terms, promotions, and shelf space.
• Lead, coach, and manage the Modern Trade sales team through clear KPIs and regular performance reviews
•  Ensure strong execution of promotional activities, merchandising standards, stock availability, and FIFO compliance.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant departments for smooth MT operations.
•  Analyze SKU and outlet performance, competitor activities, and channel trends to identify growth opportunities.

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

• Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience in Sales, Modern Trade, Key Account Management, or Channel Management.
• Industry: Strong FMCG background is mandatory, preferably in Food & Beverage / Packaged Goods.
• Proven expertise in commercial negotiation and key account development.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and sales data analysis.
•  Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication skills in Bangla and English.
•  Willingness to travel for outlet visits, customer meetings, and market audits.
